Hops are a prevlant crop used for flavouring beer. When hops are harvested the majority of the plant is considered a waste by-product.

HarVest Leather re-purposes the waste to create a novel plant-based alternative to leather which is 100% plastic free. Many fabrics today rely on virgin fibres, which are resource-intensive to produce. HarVest repurposes waste hops to create hop-yarn, offering a sustainable alternative that reduces our dependence on virgin fibres.

Celebrating the origins of the materials, the works draw on features of the hop industry, from the rectangular forms of oast houses to the netting of growing trellises.
